SLUG Mag’s Brewstillery, is a bi-annual eventIt’s a family friendly event with kids 12 and under free.What: SLUG Mag’s Brewstillery: A Local Beer and Spirits FestivalWhen: Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 2 p.m. – 7 p.m.Where: Outside of Artspace City Center (230 S 500 West)Why: The festival will follow SLUG Magazine’s 16th Annual Beer Issue.

Cost for the event is $25 for pre-sale, $30 day-of, $7 for non-drinkers and kids 12 & under free. $30 for pre-sale and $35 day-of for the Planned Parenthood commemorative mug. Each ticket (excluding Non-Drinker) includes 5 drink tokens and a commemorative Mug. Additional tokens can be purchased online with your ticket or at the event for $2 each. It’s a family friendly event with kids 12 and under free.

Utah Brewers Guild "Wild West" Collaboration Festival

Each UBG member brewery is teaming up with a partner to create a one-off event draft beer for attendees to sample at the event. 

This is a brew fest designed by craft brewers for everyone and provides the opportunity for Utah Brewers Guild members to showcase their craft beer to the community through samples and education on the collaboration beers. 

This event, created by brewers, focuses entirely on our growing state-wide brewing community, furthering the Guild’s mission to promote and support our industry.  Part of what makes this festival unique from others occurring within our state are the collaboration brews featuring beers made to embody the spirit of cooperation and knowledge sharing within the craft beer industry. 

  • 12 and under - Free

  • 12 and up Ticket without Tasting Pass - $10

  • 21 and up Ticket + Tasting Pass - $25

  • 21 and up VIP Ticket + Tasting Pass w/early entry - $55

Pie 'n' Beer Day at Epic Brewing

It’s time to indulge in rich deliciousness this July 24th! Epic Brewing Company and Pie Fight are gearing up for a Pie & Beer Day celebration by pairing three handcrafted pies with three handcrafted brews.

Each pairing was carefully selected by the bakers and brewers at both local businesses. The crew at Pie Fight even developed a new recipe to pair with Epic Brewing’s Pie ‘n’ Beer Day Sour Ale.

This year’s pairings are:

  • Banana Chocolate Chip Pie with Brainless Belgian Golden Ale

  • Blueberry Goat Cheese Pie with Pie ‘n’ Beer Day Sour Ale

  • Peanut Butter & Jelly Pie with Double Jam Imperial Stout

    The pies and beers will be available to-go at Epic Brewing on 825 S State Street on July 24th from 1 pm until sellout. Each hand pie is $7.50 and the beers start at $2.99/can. Bring a friend and try them all!

Van Noy's Charitity Golf Challenge

The Van Noys' Charity Golf Challenge will benefit the Van Noy Valor Foundation, whose mission is encouraging personal valor in the lives of adopted children, those in foster care and disadvantaged youth by armoring them with success through resources, mentors and opportunities. This year, funds raised will directly benefit the Van Noy Valiant Knights Program, an initiative providing scholarships and internships within the state of Utah for youth who have aged out of the foster care system, or have been part of the foster care system.
