31 August 2017

Epic Brewing is pleased announce its new partnership with Breakthru Beverage Illinois. Breakthru Beverage is the oldest and most established distributor in Illinois. They reach every corner of the state and utilize the most innovative technology, as well as employ the industry’s most knowledgeable sales force.

“There is an incredible craft beer scene in Illinois and we are stoked to finally be a part of it. To be able to enter the market with such a great partner like Breakthru Beverage makes it even more exciting,” said Darin McGregor, Epic’s National Sales Manager. “They have a dedicated team with a passion for craft beer and rock solid logistical execution. We are honored to have them bring our line-up of unique beers to the people of Chicago and beyond. We think beers like Big Bad Baptist, Tart n’ Juicy Sour IPA, our new series of New England-Style IPAs, as well as our diverse portfolio of barrel-aged sours will add a lot to an already thriving market.”

The launch will kick-off the week of September 11th with several events that highlight Epic’s portfolio.

September 11th 7:00pm at Map Room
September 11th 6:00pm at Marias
September 12th 6:00pm at Sheffields
September 13th 7:00pm at Hopcat
September 14th 6:00pm at Bitter Pops
September 14th 7:00pm at Bangers & Lace

“Epic Brewing is a fantastic addition to our portfolio. The brewery, while relatively young, has taken off and grown into a nationally known and sought-after brand in just a few short years. Epic is one of those breweries our customers have been asking about for a while now and we’re thrilled to be able to finally bring them into Illinois,” said Brian Stockard, Director of Sales – Craft Beer at Breakthru Beverage.

Alex Wojcik a long-time sales representative for Epic will be covering the state. “A lot of our Chicago fans have had to make the trek out-of-state to find our beer. I’m happy to say that’s a thing of the past, now, and we can enjoy Epic on tap at our favorite bars. I’m looking forward to introducing Big Bad Baptist to everyone this fall.”
