- Notes: This is the third use of red wine barrels in the second fermentation. We took a blend of our double gold medal winning Brainless?003f?0042elgian, added cherry puree and aged it in Red Wine Oak casks for a secondary fermentation in the barrels and some additional aging. Pours a beautiful deep ruby color with a medium white head to pink head. A nice nose of sweet and sour cherries, Belgian malts, and barrel aging. The flavor is dominated by red wine dryness and malt and fruit driven sweetness.
- Malt: German Pilsner Malt, Maris Otter Pale malt, Caraplis malt, Flaked Oats, Candy sugar
- Boil: Premient, Tettnang, and Saaz.
- Fruit: 100% pure cherry Puree (no preservatives)
