- Notes: This is the second use of red wine barrels in the second fermentation. We took our double gold medal winning Brainless?003f?0042elgian, added cherry puree and aged it in Red Wine Oak casks for a secondary fermentation in the barrels and some additional aging. Pours a beautiful deep ruby color with a medium white head to pink head. A nice nose of sweet and sour cherries, Belgian malts, and barrel aging. The flavor is dominated by red wine dryness and malt and fruit driven sweetness.
- Malt: German Pilsner Malt, Maris Otter Pale malt, Caraplis malt, Flaked Oats, Candy sugar
- Boil: Premient, Tettnang, and Saaz.
- Fruit: 100% pure cherry Puree (no preservatives)
