Brewed on May 23, 2012. Packaged on June 14, 2012.
This Hopulent release has really nice body with cracker and biscuit like flavors and a beautiful citrusy hop presence throughout the beer. Finishes warm with a refreshing hop bitterness.
The Malt
Premium Briess Two Row with a nearly equal amount of Ultra Premium Maris Otter as the base malts. Weyermann Munic malt Type 1 and Briess Caramel malt 20L finish off the bill nicely.
The Hops
In the Boil: Columbus, Chinook and Centennial for bittering and flavor, 2 additions of Simcoe for aroma
Hopback: Whole leaf Chinook and Centennial
Dry hop: Chinook and Centennial
ABV 8.3%.
