Copper Cone Pale Ale Release #40

Brewed on March 3, 2013. Packaged on March 27, 2013.

This latest release of Copper Cone was dry hopped using “lemondrop” hops, an experimental hop that produces a noticeable citrus profile, similar to a cross between Citra and Cascade.  This aroma rich extra strong pale ale maintains its copper color and the balance between spicy and herbal flavors.

For this release of Copper Cone, Brewmaster Kevin Crompton, returned to the use of whole leaf Summit hops in the hopback. It starts off with a big hop-forward nose of pine and citrus with caramel and sweet malty flavors.
