Our lightest in terms of alcohol comes in at 4.8% by volume so that malt can dominate the flavor profile.  Caramel sweet malt all over the palate with a noticeable “jumping just over the barrier” citrus hop aroma.  Surprisingly refreshing for such a malt driven ale.

An American Wheat Beer, no banana or clove in this one: highly drinkable, unfiltered, “session-able.”  Easy to drink, nice zest and lemon citrus flavors and aromas from the hops balanced with slight malt sweetness and just a wee bit kick of sour from the wheat. 

Classic Belgian Wit Beer Release #12

Brewed May 30, 2012. Packaged June 11, 2012.

A very refreshing release of this summer's Wit Beer. Sweet and bitter orange peel with coriander come out to the forefront ending in a sweet finish. 

The Malt

Premium Weyermann Pilsner, Briess Flaked oats, Ultra-premium Muntons wheat malt, Weyermann Acidulated Malt and Rice Hulls.

The Hops and Spices

Noble hops in the boil: Saaz and Tettanger. The spice bill includes bitter and sweet orange peel, ground ginger, cardamom pods, grains of paradise and whole unscented coriander.

ABV 5.4%
