Epic Chicago, IL, IN Sales Representative Position

Epic Brewing Company is seeking a Sales Representative to be based in Chicago, IL that will also cover the state of Indiana with some additional travel and coverage possible.

A strong emphasis will be placed on selling and driving sales at, on, and off premise accounts by working closely with distributors to initiate sales goals. The Sales Representative will also be responsible for brand building, customer relations, industry events, and general promotion of the brewery. The ability to travel within the territory and work flexible hours is a must.

Primary duties for the position include:

  • Daily management of territory sales and marketing
  • Maintain strong productive relationship with accounts and distributor
  • Perform staff trainings with new placements (on- and off-premise)
  • Merchandising accounts
  • Call on decision makers of on- and off-premise accounts
  • Promote the brewery at events, tastings, and festivals
  • Account visit tracking using CRM software and iPad
  • Submission of required administrative reports
  • Completion of a Weekly Sales Itinerary
  • Weekly meeting with National Director of Sales
  • Some additional travel may be required as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills:

  • Must have strong sales skills and craft beer knowledge
  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be a problem-solver
