Epic Brewmaster Kevin Crompton increased the amount of flaked barley for additional creaminess to the body in this release of 825 State Stout. The result: the sweet oatmeal in the stout comes out more with a lighter, silkier mouth-feel texture. All the familiar flavors of roasted malt, sweet toffee and burnt marshmallow remain, but with a smoother, creamy finish.
Ultra Premium Maris Otter as the base malt. Barley flakes, Briess Black Malt, Weyermann Munic Malt I, Roasted Barley, Chocolate malt.
